When we were small,they used to teach how to speak
When they are turning grey,we laugh at their pronunciation

When we were small,they used to hold our hands while crossing a road
When they are turning grey,we don’t bother to support them

When we were small,they did whatever they could make us happy
When they are turning grey,we just don’t have time to give them a single smile

When we were small,they had answers for every vague question we asked in innocence
When they are turning grey,we often aren't concerned about listening their questions even

When we were small,they bought us things without being asked
When they are turning grey,we make hundred negotiations while being asked to bring a little thing

When we were small,they cared for us more than anything else on this earth
 When they are turning grey,we flush out all our frustrations on them

When we were small,they trained us how to groom for an occasion
When they are turning grey,we feel embarrassed if they accompany us to some party


When we were small,they emphasized on our growth at cost of their hunger
 When they are turning grey,we can’t afford a doctor for them and blame recession!!!


When we were small,they smiled when we spoke rubbish
When they are turning grey,we start ignoring them if they speak life’s philosophy

When we were small,they stood by us to wipe all our tears,helping to fight the fears 
When they are turning grey,we try an escapism from their sorrows leaving them alone


When we were small,we needed them…they are our elders


 While they are turning grey,they need us…….THEY NEED US EVERY MOMENT
